If you already know how to move the pieces but want to improve your game, I suggest that you start from lesson 3.   Have fun!

Learn chess rules with the following lessons:

Lesson 1 : Before starting the game
Lesson 2 : How to move pieces
Lesson 3 : Pieces' value, attack and threats
Lesson 4 : Basic rules of chess (goal of the game, checkmate)
Lesson 5 : Advanced rules of chess (castling, draw, promotion)

Learning to read and write a chess game with lesson 6 on Algebraic notation.

Getting basic notions about the different phases of the game(opening, middlegame, ending) with lesson 7.

Learning how to finish a winning game by studying the different mating patterns with lesson 8.

Build your own weapons, learn to win and avoid traps by working on the following lessons:

Lesson 9 : Basic tactics (pin, fork, skewer,...)

The following lessons will be available as soon as I am able to free up some time:

Lesson 10 : Other tactics (sacrifice, windmill, attraction,...)
Lesson 11 : Combinations and Summing Up on Tactics (with several commented games from the best tacticians: Tal, Morphy, Kasparov,...)
