Suzanne Richer

Mrs. Richer paints since 1980. After ten years of oil painting, she began to experiment acrylics with the airbrush, to explore the multiple faces of art with modern techniques.

She was technician in high finishing on wood graphics. Two pieces her work are seen in the region : Le Mousquetaire at Magog and the Malard Inn at Knowlton.

She also worked for different photographs studios to restore and touch up photography.

She has done a mural painting for Difco manufactory of Magog, which was published in the international magazine of the company. In 2003, one of her paintings was on the cover of the telephone book of Magog and Le Circuit des Arts Memphrémagog published also in 2003 a catalogue for their 10^th anniversary in which one of her paintings is seen.

Many organisms ask for her talent :

Ø La Traversée Internationale du Lac Memphrémagog from 1988 to 1990 to set up the road of the road of the Artists.

Ø The Neurofibromatosis association of Quebec for the front page of their annual magazine, since a few years.

Ø The Alzheimer society of Quebec for the auction sale to raise funds, from 2000 to 2002.

During the art symposium of the Jardin Marisol de Bromont 1996 and 1998, she won twice the second prize as a professional painter.

She had an honourable mention at the second Annual Eastern Townships Art Competition at the Frederick Amsden House art Gallery in 2000 and another honourable mention at the art competition Les étoiles de l’année at the art Gallery Artazo in 2002. Her paintings are on display at the art Gallery R.C. in Magog.
